Journey of Thousand Steps…

…begins when you take the first step.

Shri Lalitha Sahasranama is not just a book I read, or study or write about. Like many ancient texts, its wisdom is a resource for how I live and work:

When noises gets loud, a simple truth keeps you grounded: the center of you is already calm, and whole.

Shri Lalitha Sahasranama (the 1,000 names of the Divine Mother) helps you return to that calm center at your own pace, practically, and without dogma. This work welcomes all faiths and none because names are just doorways that help you to align your energy flow to your core values and qualities.

Thousand names whisper
one silence answers softly
You are home already.

What is it?

  • An ancient hymn of 1,000 names of the Divine Feminine as consciousness, love, and creative energy.

  • Each name reveals a lived quality that can be embodied in daily life.

  • For coaching, think of it as a map of inner landscape instead of a belief system.

Why it matters now?

Modern life splits your attention and strains your nervous system.

The 1,000-name map offers:

  • Grounding in the body (not just the mind)

  • Clarity to see through fear and reactivity

  • Courage to act from values, not noise

  • Compassion that doesn’t collapse boundaries

  • Desire to enjoy the world as play.

How I use It In Spiritual Coaching?

Three simple movements shape our sessions:

  1. Awareness: notice what is present (sensations, emotions, breath).

  2. Alchemy: digest the pattern with a name & quality from the text and a body-based practice.

  3. Action: a small, real-world step aligned with your core values and strengths.

Name becomes breath now
breath re-threads scattered moments
courage stands upright.

Examples in Practice

Each name identifies a quality that you can activate through small practices and reinforce through a reflection.

1) Kuṇḍalinī: “the coiled life‑force”

  • Quality: Infinite potentiality. Natural vitality and upward momentum.

  • Practice: 7 gentle cycles of pelvic floor lift on inhale, release on exhale.

  • Reflections:

    • Where in your life is new energy trying to rise?

    • What small action today could feed your real vitality, not your busyness?

    • Can you let joy and excitement move through you without rushing to control it?

2) Sandhyā: “energy of confluence”

  • Quality: Meeting transitions without fear, dawn, dusk, role shifts, season changes.

  • Practice: At any hallway switch, pause. 6 cycles: Feel soles + breath. Inhale think arriving, exhale allow.

  • Reflections:

    • What change are you currently resisting or rushing through?

    • Can you relax and let the in-between teach you something?

    • What remains unchanging even as roles, seasons, and identities change?

3) Saccidānandarūpiṇī: “energy of existence‑consciousness‑bliss”

  • Qality: Resting in being before doing; acting from awareness instead of ego or urgency.

  • Practice: Hand on heart. Notice a strong sensation. Say silently: I am awareness that feels this.

  • Reflections:

    • What if you didn’t need to fix or improve anything at this time?

    • When you act from love instead of fear, how does your next step change?

    • What would you think, say, or do if you were the energy of love itself?

4) Mahāśaktiḥ: “the great power”

  • Quality: Spacious confidence rooted in your own power of care, not performance.

  • Practice: Stand, widen your stance, soften knees; inhale imagine widening across the chest; exhale relax shoulders.

  • Reflections:

    • How do you express power without wanting to prove it?

    • Can your confidence hold both strength and humility?

    • What would using power, in service of life, look like in one small act today?

Petals keep opening
nothing enters, nothing leaves;
only light learns you.

What It’s Like To Work Together

Here is typical flow during a spiritual coaching session with me:

  1. Check‑in: what’s alive right now (5–10 min)

  2. Body‑based practice: chosen from the Name Spotlight tools (10 min)

  3. Dialogue: deeper meaning, insights and reframing (15–20 min)

  4. Small‑commitment: one small step before next session (5 min)

Common Questions

  • Do I need to know or chant all 1,000 names?
No. We work with a handful of names matched to your situation, strengths, values, and nervous system.

  • Is this religious?
It’s a practice of qualities (clarity, compassion, courage, etc.) to shape your inner landscape and energy flow. Keep your own beliefs, and bring your doubts too.

  1. What results can I expect?
Clients report calm, clarity, kindness, and follow‑through on what really matters to them.
